On February 20, 2017, the Warlocks held a press conference and Robot Revealing at our school, Lockport High School. The Lockport Union Sun and Journal was invited to join us to document the reveal of our robot. Reporters watched our robot hang gears, shoot fuel, and climb the rope. A few of the students were interviewed by the reporters and they explained the game and what our robot did during the game. President James Rogowski also gave a speech before the robot demonstration and revealed our Woody Flowers nominee, Steve Barnes.
While reporters were here, the Warlocks demonstrated the abilities of our robot; including collecting and hanging gears, shooting fuel in autonomous, and climbing the rope. Reporters and visitors alike were amazed at our gear hanging abilities and our rope climbing skills. We were able to shoot fuel in autonomous and get most of them into the high goal! The Warlocks were very pleased with the results of how the robot performed.
